Eye's Never Lie
Eye’s Never Lie
Deep river eyes, streams of worries Drowning in water, trying to find Independence, ink stamp of where she belongs Eyes of an accident time Bright as California, dreams bigger than the Nile Dark coco shell, tough as steal Deep scars that will never leave the scarf Troubled by her DNA, scrapbook identity Pearly white teeth that hides under her full rosy lips that under smile She’s a walking story, black ink on the page Numbered by her gloomy past Chaptered by her success
